Emperor and Darth Tuna cans typically have their shrouds secured to the watch by three screws, as seen above. In my experience, using a hex key to remove them on an unserviced watch can be difficult due to Seiko using a thread locking substance on the screw threads. It’s not uncommon for users to damage the hex shape top screw. If that happens repair can get tricky. One safe way to avoid that is by using a drop of superglue to attach your hex key to the screw. After it dries, you will have a very firm connection that will make unscrewing it much easier. To reverse the glue bond, just soak the screw in nail polish remover for about 10 minutes. It may take a little more time, but it will help you avoid damaging/destroying the expensive screw.
